Video conference negotiations between the Rosselkhoznadzor and Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply officials with participation of the representatives of the Brazilian Embassy to Moscow were held on March 9, 2021.

The parties discussed possible integration of the information systems used for phytosanitary certificate issuing and verification in mutual trade. Taking into account the mutual interest in this process progression, the parties agreed to sign the integration regulating protocol.

The Brazilian party will forward the official confirmation of its intention for cooperation in this field to the Rosselkhoznadzor in the nearest future and then the parties will agree the date of technical negotiations.
