Annual International Industrial Fair "VIF-2011" is taking place from October 19 to 23, 2011 in Hanoi (Vietnam). "VIF-2011" is the biggest multi industrial exhibition in the South-Eastern region with 460 companies participating in it.
This event is organized under the auspices of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The organizer of the Russian exposition presented by 68 companies is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
More than 5,000 visitors came to the exhibition on the first day. The FGBI "Federal Centre for Animal Health" presents its exposition within the sector entitled as "Biotechnology" and exhibits biologicals produced by the Institution.
On the first day of the exhibition V.A. Gruby, Director of the FGBI "ARRIAH" met Hoang Van Nam, Chief of the Veterinary Department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture. The agreement in principle on cooperation in monitoring of farm animal diseases, scientific consulting by ARRIAH specialists, trainings on probation for young scientists from both countries, veterinary medicine deliveries and organization of joint biological production was reached during the meeting.
Protocol of intentions was signed between the "ARRIAH" and Vietnamese National Veterinary Company Vinavetko. The document was signed by V.A. Gruby, Director of the FGBI “ARRIAH” on behalf of the Russian party and by Le Duc Lien, Director General of Vinavetko on behalf of the Vietnamese party. Hoang Van Nam, Chief of the Veterinary Department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture, the specialists of the Veterinary Service of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture, Vinavetko representatives, heads of the "ARRIAH" laboratories D.V. Mikhalishin and A.E. Metlin took part in the signing.
The exhibition will work till October 23 and several business meetings between the FGBI "ARRIAH" management and representatives of the Vietnamese scientific and business communities are planned within this fair.
